Saif Ali Khan Stabbed in Mumbai Home.
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, 54, was stabbed during an attempted burglary at his Mumbai residence in the early hours of January 16, 2025. The assailant entered his Bandra home around 2:30 a.m., leading to a scuffle between the two. Khan sustained six stab wounds, including one near his spine. He underwent surgery at Lilavati Hospital and is reported to be out of danger.
During the incident, Khan was reportedly trying to protect his domestic help from the intruder. A female employee at the residence was also injured and is receiving treatment.
Khan’s wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their two children were unharmed. She has requested privacy during the ongoing police investigation.
The attack has raised concerns about security in Mumbai, especially in areas populated by celebrities. Calls for increased policing have been made to ensure the safety of residents.
Saif Ali Khan is a renowned actor and producer, known for his work in over 70 films and television series. He is the son of former Indian cricket captain Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore.
